Has anyone volunteered with the Global Volunteer Network?  What was your experience with it?  I am thinking about going to Thailand in June.

I am considering going to volunteer in Mexico through GVI USA. Has anyone volunteered through them? I am interested in the Scuba Diving Trip. Any advice helps, I want to make sure it's a legit program before I plunk my earnings down. Thanks!

Hi, I'm new, 19 from Australia. I looked back a few posts and found a post about ISV but it's from 2006 and has no replies.

I've never done any volunteer work but lately have been thinking of volunteering abroad for the experiences of being overseas and also helping others and meeting new people. Just a new adventure...

Has anyone done a 2 week volunteer program + 2 week adventure with International Student Volunteers ()? Or know anyone who has? How did you find it? Recommend?

I'm thinking of doing the Costa Rica one but would love to hear experiences from people who did other destinations. I've read the testimonials on the website but like to hear from actual people.

Hiya! I'm in week two of my volunteer experience in Holland. I have two questions:

1. How do you cope with homesickness?

2. Is anybody documenting their experiences on their own website? (I just launched www.girlonamission.net and don't know what I should do with it yet.)

Dank je vel!

Has anyone used Rosetta Stone to learn a language?  If so, was it worth it?  I want to learn some basic Thai before I go to Thailand next year.

Has anyone heard anything good/bad about GeoVisions? Or have you done anything through them? There's a program that's teaching in Thailand that I'm really interested in but I'm not sure how...reliable the program is. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
